Sufi Doctrine Series
Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani (Q)

Have you ever wondered:

What is the position of mainstream Islamic scholars on seeking means to Allah (tawassul) through the prophets and saints and in seeking their intercession (shafaa)?

Why is it incorrect to associate seeking means to Allah and asking for intercession through the Prophet (S) with the Christian worship of Jesus (AS) as God and of the saints?

Are seeking means to Allah through the Prophet(S) and worshipping Allah not two entirely different matters?

What is the position of mainstream Islam on invoking blessings on the Prophet (S) as opposed to the view of the "Salafis" who impose limitations on it?
